You're Casey, a full-blown mad scientist. You enjoy duking it out with your best enemy and worst friend (and housemate) Andy, be it role playing or sawblade Tron. You have a propensity for being assaulted by unfriendly aliens and burning down the house by doing things that seem completely harmless. Sometimes, you slip under a black mask and become Dr. X, whose goal it is to conquer the world. For some strange reason, you seem to be completely unable to die.
Test-o-mat! Which character from Casey & Andy are you? brought to you by Quizilla |

| | Bach (Hans Helmut) - Ach, was soll ich Sunder mache | ] | Well, the Qwest jobis lookng better. I got a call today from HR, that went over some of the benefits and requirements
First off, the benefits are 100% employer paid (yay Communication Workers of America!). We get one week of vacation, and after a year, another week per year. We get 7 paid holidays a year, and 4 days of PTO each year, earned at each quarter. After a year, it goes up to 8 total. Benefits start on the *31st* day of employment.
As I think I stated, the starting wage for training is $8.50/hr, and after ~15 weeks of training, it goes to $10, with the oppurtunity to earn $2/hr extra by meeting min performence requirements (mainly sales quotas). After you meet you quota, the amount paid goes up per sale, so I will have the ability to increase my income dramatically. I've never considered myself a salesman, however, I did extremely well at ACS, often placing as high as 3rd in the call center, out of ~500 ppl; I don't foresee any problems with doing similiar here (maybe not as high, this is mainly a sales position, so I expect the competition to be tougher).
Now for the so-so news. THey are currently bargaining over the new CBA, so any of this *could* change. Chances are it will get better, after all, how many employees vote to lose pay or benefits, unless it's an extreme measure to keep the company alive.
Also, eviction has been forestalled, thanks to my landlord agreeing to take small payments every week. I explained I was on UE, had job offers, and wasn't a deadbeat, just couldn't pay it on time for the next two months.
Also, Qwest bumped the start date to 12 SEP from 22 SEP. |

| | Fear Factory - Supernova | ] | Oh, forgot to mention Transgression is the new CD by Fear Factory, (release date is 23 Aug 2005) and Supernova is a song from it:
Track List
----------
01. 540000 Degrees Fahrenheit 04:29
02. Transgression 04:51
03. Spinal Compression 04:12
04. Contagion 04:39
05. Empty Vision 04:55
06. Echoes of My Scream 06:58
07. Supernova 04:33
08. New Promise 05:13
09. I Will Follow 03:43
10. Millenium 05:26
11. Moment of Impact 04:03
12. Empire 03:47
I'm not a huge fan of speed/death metal, but this song is NOT in that genre, it's quite uplifting, and the vocals are gorgeous, much more reminiscent of "Resurection". Wish they'd give the speed metal crap up, they have far more talent :p |

| | Fear Factory - Supernova | ] | Well, had my interview with Qwest today (testing was yesterday), and they decided a 2nd interview was not necessary. Most of it was a RP, they gave me 4 sheets of info about a flower company, with sales information, general billing issues, and how to answer the phone and 5 minutes to study it.
I completely nailed that portion with things like spotting that the address was a local delivery when the customer was getting charged for non-local (apparently, very few ppl catch that), and even did a good suggestive upsell.
Again, contigent on background check & drug testing, and yes, I asked HR at the testing about the DC charge Comcrap came up with, and they emphatically stated they are looking for felony convictions only within the last 7 years, so no issues there.
Only pitfall to the job is it's 15 weeks of training at $8.50/hr, then $10.00 after graduation, but it si union. Class starts Sept. 22nd, which is gonna cut it very close with my UE as I get $184/wk and rent is $525/month. |

| | annoyed | ] | Well, I didn't get the job. Apprently, a simple misdomeanor (Disorderly conduct, which was me telling some grocery clerks throwing me to the ground "fuck off and die") was enough to keep me from getting the job. I've had other employers see this and they've never had an issue with it (nor did my current landlords). They did say that otherwise I was great, and would be more than welcome to re-apply after it has rolled past the 7 year cut off (about 2 years from now.). |

the Comic
(47% dark, 30% spontaneous, 61% vulgar)
your humor style:
VULGAR | COMPLEX | LIGHT
Yours is the most versatile and also the most popular kind of humor. On the one hand, you'll crack a joke about just about anything, but you're not mean-spirited or intimidating, so you can get away with it--even when, for example, you bust on Mexicans. Even though you appreciate a good dirty joke as much as anybody, over all, you've got a cerebral approach to humor. In fact, you appreciate all well-crafted humor. Now just go out there and write up a routine; it's likely you'd be good at it.

| | sick | ] | Well, I forgot to pay my hosting fees for 12thmonth.com, it'll be offline until the 09JUN or so :(
I'm coming up on my 1 year at my job (16JUN). This will only be the 3rd job I've stuck at that long, and if I make it to 14 months, it'll be the longest I've ever worked somewhere. No, I don't like my job that much, but it still pays enough to live off of, and the want-ads around Portland are still quite depressing. Comcrap seems to be hiring and they seem to have one of the better reputations in the area--that and you get internet/cable for free apparently, that's worth about $150/month right there :)
I'm sick as hell right now. |

You May Be a Bit Borderline ... |

Your mood swings make a roller coaster look tame!
When you're up, you're a little bit crazy...
And when you're down, your whole world is crashing
Scary thing is, these moods can change by the minute! |

| [ | mood |
| | good | ] | Still at the same job I started at here in Portland--I even hit my 6 month date, making me a Senior Rep, technically as I'm far too cynical to be one insofar as management is concerned. So I now make $8.75/hr, + $2/hr incentive if I meet the requirements, and OT is still generally unlimited
My plans for having my own apartment Feb 1st are on target for now, I'm sure something will snag it along the way somewhere. A place refered to by co workers as the "Goth Ghetto of Beaverton" is too good to be true, lol. (It's actually called Fountain Park Apartments).
Still not smoking cigarettes (Yay! 75 days now), though the urge to do so is killing me (mostly from the desire to kill other idiots and NOT being able to smoke). |
